13 February 2016
Coffee Lab Microroasters were appointed as the most promising franchise during the recent ceremony of Franchise Awards 2016, since they managed in just one year after their launch – and during a difficult period – to open 10 cafés, while kept going strong at a rate of two stores per month. With their vision being to introduce good quality coffee to the Greek market, they offer apart from hand-picked Brazilian, Kenyan, Ethiopian and Guatemalan coffee, an array of innovative products like cold brew, real chocolate drinks, home made lemonades and chocco ball. Their recent rebranding with Argus, the faithful companion and protector of ‘good coffee’ as symbol, was taken into consideration during the awarding since the coffee chain was very close to also win the ‘Best Concept Redesign’ award.
As Stelios Roumeliotis, Founder and Executive Director of Coffee Lab stated: Our distinction as the most promising franchise, on one hand honours the efforts of our team and on the other it strengthens our sense of responsibility towards present and future partners – franchisees who strive to achieve all goals concerning a solid growth in the framework of win-win partnerships.
The FRANCHISE AWARDS were organised for the 8th consecutive year under the egis of Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship by the Franchise Business magazine.
