Inspired by the old Cretan custom of "Klou Klou," we created a New Year's corporate gift that revives its symbolic power through modern design.

On New Year's Day, families would gather stones and recite wishes such as: "Klou-Klou, may our hens lay eggs, our sheep and goats bear females, and our home enjoy a good year." This ritual symbolised the connection to the earth, nature, and the power of creation. In this tradition, the stone replaces the egg, and a person sits on it, just as a hen incubates its eggs. The stone becomes a symbol of birth, abundance, and new life, bringing wishes of good fortune for the year ahead. Our gift includes a scarf featuring cartoon chickens that blend humour with tradition. The chickens are depicted with a playful style, giving a fresh, modern aesthetic to the story. The design serves as a bridge between the past and the present, carrying the magnificence of cultural heritage into today's world.

In this way, we honour Crete's rich heritage, bringing back a forgotten everyday ritual. Our aim is to preserve old narratives while inspiring new ones. Our wish is for abundance and joy to emerge, the way new life springs out of an egg.
