This is a land that has been wounded and scarred. Wounded and bled and never fully healed. Their trauma became ours. Because we’ve also bled and never healed. The faces of the Vietnamese people reflected ours. It felt like a journey we’ve already taken before, even when nothing looked the same. We photographed and lost ourselves in every photo. Every image a story of blood and healing. But we’re designers. And even trauma can be seen through shape. This is our scrapbook, our mirror, a publication of the whispers Vietnam wants to share. It’s what we heard. We put all sounds on paper. Written in image and word. A publication of our soul. Where a journey becomes memory and statement. A cry and laughter.
